This course deals with the study of food in relation
to health. It covers nutrients and other substances in relation to health,
diseases and the process by which organism
ingests, digests, absorbs, transports, utilizes and excretes food substances. Moreover, this course also focuses on the therapeutic and food nutritional and health care services in hospitals.
